The Shigen Production Process

20 Mar 2026

Every Shigen product that reaches you goes through a series of steps to ensure its quality and safety. Here is an overview of how Shigen products are made, from idea to shipment.

1. Research and product design
The process starts with understanding the needs of Indonesian users. The team designs each product's shape, size, and function, from elegant switches and sockets to practical home appliances, with SNI requirements in mind.

2. Raw material selection
Quality starts with materials. Shigen uses strong, heat-resistant polycarbonate for switch and socket housings, and copper and brass for current-carrying parts. Raw materials are inspected before production.

3. Component manufacturing
Plastic parts are formed with precision moulds, while metal parts such as terminals and contacts are shaped for an exact fit and strong connections.

4. Assembly
Components are assembled into finished products. Each part is fitted carefully so switches feel solid, socket contacts grip well, and cable connections are secure.

5. Quality control
Finished products undergo quality checks, including visual inspection, function tests, and electrical testing, to ensure they work properly and safely. Products that fail inspection are not shipped.

6. Certification and compliance
Shigen electrical products are certified to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), and selected home appliances meet K3L requirements, assuring compliance with Indonesian safety regulations.

7. Packaging and distribution
Products are neatly packed with brand, type, and specification information, then boxed in clear carton quantities and shipped to distributors, electrical shops, and customers across Indonesia.

Our Commitment
Through a controlled process from start to finish, Shigen is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and affordable electrical products for Indonesia.
